is an entrepreneur, investor, advisor, and author of The Discipline of Coming Home: On Ambition, Love, and the Inner Life.

For much of his life, Stephen lived close to ambition — building companies, advising founders and executives, investing in growth, and helping leaders navigate the demands of work, responsibility, and change. Over time, that outer work became inseparable from a deeper inner inquiry: What are we really seeking through achievement? What are we asking success to prove? And what remains when the old bargains no longer hold?

The Discipline of Coming Home emerged from that inquiry. The book is written for people who have achieved much of what they once wanted and still sense that something essential remains unsettled. It is not a rejection of ambition, but an invitation to live and lead from a deeper ground than the need to prove.

Stephen is a partner at Advantary, where he works with founders, executives, investors, and leadership teams. He is also the founder of the Coming Home Initiative, a platform devoted to helping high-responsibility leaders bring greater awareness, integrity, and wholeness to their work and lives.

His work sits at the intersection of leadership, inner development, philosophy, and love — with a central question running through it all: how do we live fully in the world without losing contact with home?
